Delivery and Returns Christmas 2024

Any orders placed on or after Thursday 31st October 2024 can be returned for exchange or refund up until Friday 10th January 2025 or 28 days from the date of dispatch if that is later.

Please note that all refunds are given subject to the conditions below.

We use Royal Mail for our deliveries.  Their last recommended postage dates for post to arrive for Christmas are as follows;

  • Friday 20 December for Royal Mail Tracked 48 (orders must be received by midday on this date to be dispatched the same day)

 

  • Saturday 21 December for Royal Mail Tracked 24 (orders must be received by 9am on this date to be dispatched the same day)

Please note that this does not guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. We cannot guarantee orders will arrive on time.

Once your order leaves us it is in the hands of Royal Mail who are always under more strain than usual during the festive period; so if you wish your order to arrive in time for Christmas please allow extra time for dispatch and delivery.

The only service that is guaranteed to arrive in a specified time frame is the Royal Mail Special Delivery for which the last posting date is Monday 23 December.

 We are a small family business and do our best to despatch your order as quickly as possible, generally within one or two working days.  Please allow 5 - 7 working days from placing your order for delivery depending on the service you choose.

Standard Delivery 
Order are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 which is £2.95 for orders under £50 and FREE for orders of £50 or more.  This service aims to deliver within 2-3 working days, however this is not guaranteed.

Express Delivery
If you're in a hurry, we offer Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £4.50. If you pay for this service we will despatch your order the same day provided its placed by midday, Monday - Friday only excluding bank holidays. This service aims to deliver within 1-2 working days, however this is not guaranteed.

Neither Royal Mail Tracked 48 nor Royal Mail Tracked 24 are guaranteed to arrive within the time frames specified and we cannot offer compensation or refund postage for orders that don't arrive when anticipated.

Royal Mail Special Delivery -  Guaranteed next working day delivery 
This service is £7.95.  Orders must be placed by midday Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays) to be despatched the same day and will arrive by 1pm the following working day.  A signature will be required upon delivery.  Orders placed on a Friday may not arrive until Monday.  We cannot offer our next working day option to certain remote locations including some parts of the Scottish Highlands, Belfast and Northern Ireland.

Outside UK Please contact us and we can advise on prices for delivery, this will be based on weight and value of your order. 

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and will be charged once a parcel reaches the destination country.  Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.

Missing/Late Order Please allow a reasonable amount of time for your order to arrive especially during busy periods. If your order is delayed we have to wait 10 working days past the standard delivery time before its deemed 'lost' and can send replacement items. If that time has passed and you have not received your order please email hello@gbswimwear.co.uk and quote your order number.  We are real people and occasionally mistakes happen.  If there is an error with your order we ask you to email us so we can rectify the problem at no cost to you.

We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your purchase from GB Swimwear.  If an item isn't quite right, please return it to us as soon as possible with the completed returns form (if you no longer have this form a note with your name and order number will suffice). Eligible products can be returned within 28 days of us dispatching your order for a full refund as long as the product is unmarked, unwashed, odour-free, with all labels and hygiene strips attached. 

Products that are not eligible for returns (unless they are faulty):

  • Underwear
  • Backpacks & Mesh Gear Bags
  • Kickboards & Pull Buoys
  • Towels
  • Swimming Caps

You will be refunded for the goods and any standard delivery charge you paid. If you chose one of our faster delivery options your delivery cost will not be refunded. Return postage and packing costs are met by the customer.  

Customers should obtain proof of postage when returning goods to us, as we are not responsible for non-delivery of returned items. If we incur a cost for insufficient postage on an item this will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds are subject to the conditions below.  If an item is not returned in a saleable condition we reserve the right not to refund and return it to you. To be eligible for a full refund, please bear in mind the following:

  • The returned product should be in a fully re-saleable condition. This means it is unmarked, unworn, unwashed, odour-free, with all labels attached. 
  • The product is neatly folded in the original packaging.
  • Underwear should be worn beneath swimwear when trying it on.
  • Please ensure the item does not come into contact with any hair products, make up or nail polish. Remove any jewellery including earrings, rings or necklaces that may catch and snag the fabric of the product. 

Faulty Items 

We are proud to supply products that we believe are made to an exceptional standard but very occasionally there may be a manufacturing fault.  If you believe your product is faulty please take a photo of the fault or issue and email us at hello@gbswimwear.co.uk with the picture attached and a description of the fault together with your original order details. 

  • If we deem the product to be faulty we will offer you the choice of another product to the equal value of your original purchase or a refund.
  • If we believe the product has been mistreated or has performed for a reasonable period of time, we will inform you that your return request has not been approved.
